I was just wondering also if there will be any further development on karnwyr that may actually allow him to consume some raw meat in the characters inventory when you select the feed Karnwyr dialogue option. If anyone else feels the same way on this matter please let me know. I understand that as he is not a follower of the PC per se, that you might not be able to control him like a follower, but another thought I had is that perhaps you could add a conversation option that gets him to move out of the way or fetch or something.Īs I am not a modder myself I am not familiar with scripting and AI or anything really so I’m not sure if its even possible, but I would really love to hear your thoughts on the matter.
I was thinking perhaps, and this is just a simple suggestion and I don’t mind if you deny it, that perhaps you could change Karnwyr to have the same AI as Meeko or any of the other dog followers as I imagine they use the same scripting.Īlso for appearance to make him look less fearsome all the time perhaps adjust his facial expression so that he’s not snarling all the time. When Meeko is idle he sits down, which in many similar situations where he’s blocking my way I can just jump over him without a problem. I usually have meeko tagging along with our crew and noticed a few things that differ between the dog AI and the wolf AI.
I myself like to play as a ranger and love having Karnwyr along with my character and Bishop on there journeys, however I find more often than not that Karnwyr gets in the way a lot by standing too close to my character in narrow tunnels and other similar situations and I get quite frustrated that the only way to get past him is to either reload my save and try to avoid getting him in the way, or beat the stuffing out of the poor thing to move him out of the way. I was just wanting to raise a point that I found while playing the mod. I can’t wait for the next install (forbidden love) to come out, or the animated version of SR.
